Organize Your Life!

I currently use a planner and I use my Ipad's reminder list. I set specific dates and times for certain things, but there are times when I do forget. Those are the times where I typically need to remember. I try not to forget things but it happens. One of my biggest battles is procrastination because I am always busy so when I finally get a chance to relax I want to have time to be on social media and just chill. But because I am a student that means NO PASS NO PLAY. I have to pass and I don't set low standards for myself so I strive for A's and B's in my classes. This is why I have to constantly battle procrastination because I can't afford to be lazy. Procrastination can hurt your grades and those who need you, especially when you play a team sport. When you play sports and you are an asset to the team no being able to play is one of the worst things for you and the team because they need you. That is why you don't have room for procrastination because it can hurt you. The way I fight procrastination is I do things throughout the day so that when I get home my work load is very minimal not to much and not to hectic. Also, I do my work from hardest to easiest and when I get stuck or frustrated I take a break and do the easy work. It helps avoid not getting work done and calming down so that I cant think straight.

  1. Using electronic reminders is an excellent idea. If you forget to write homework down, you will still be reminded of it. Also, doing homework throughout the day helps so you can have more free time.
