Homeless to Harvard
My favorite part of the movie was when Liz was at the school very late trying to finish work. Not many people have the drive that she had. She went through a struggle that most kids couldn't imagine, yet she overcame it. I feel like if I had the resources I needed I wold have been just as resilient as Liz was. But, if I had the opportunity to go to go like she did I would have gone. I understand she felt she had to watch her mother and take care of her but even when she taken from her mother she still didn't go to school. But ultimately her drive and motivation helped her reach her goals. I think the movie was a great example that you can do anything if you have the right mindset.

You are so right. This movie shows whatever you put your mind to, you can make it happen.
ReplyDeleteYes she definitely should have kept going to school it would have worked out a lot better for her.
ReplyDeleteI do agree that many people, especially kids, cant even imagine what she has gone through in her life. She has overcome so much and it has made her a strong and driven person.
